Jane’s Walk New Orleans 2010

Saturday, May 1, 2010 | 10 am
Meet at Rue de la Course 1140 S. Carrollton

Jane’s Walk, an homage to urban thinker Jane Jacobs, is a series of free neighborhood walking tours that help people get in touch with their environment and with each other, by bridging social and geographic gaps and creating spaces for cities to discover themselves…all over again. Join the Urban Conservancy’s Dana Eness for a stroll down historic Oak Street and find out why this humble little corridor ranks #12 on Oprah’s list of “100 Things Getting Better” in the world. Or participate in any of the 9 other scheduled walks throughout New Orleans.
