Beginning and Ending at Congo Square in Louis Armstrong Park, North Rampart and Basin St.

To commemorate the life and work of brilliant urban-planner Jane Jacobs, discursive neighborhood and community walks are hosted throughout the country during the first weekend of May.

This year, among other New Orleans-centric Jane Jacobs’ Walks, the Lafitte Corridor will be highlighted with a walk of its own, “Lafitte Greenway Gallivant.” Check out all the details at the New Orleans Jane Jacobs Walk page.
