This list does not include the ducks (mallards, Blue Swedes, and 1 Muscovy) and 2 Chinese geese. There are also at least two black bantam chickens living in Congo Square. Also, a hawk was a frequent visitor this winter and spring.

The mother mallard and all 14 baby ducklings (born on Tuesday) are still doing fine. Two other ducks are nesting now.

Armstrong Park is our own little wildlife refuge right in the heart of New Orleans.
