BASIN 2019 Recap

Despite Hurricane Barry’s best efforts, BASIN rolled on schedule July 15-19. Through a variety of hands-on experiences, presentations, and field trips, twenty-four elementary, high school, and college-aged students worked together to learn how they can use their voices, their creative problem-solving skills, and teamwork to lead positive change in their neighborhoods and to promote the wise stewardship of our natural and built environments for a safer, healthier, and less flood-prone city.
