LCMS Youth Gathering

On July 22, the Urban Conservancy got help from 50 volunteers in town for the 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering.

They supported neighbors living in the Melia and Pines Village neighborhoods to clear an overgrown area along Dwyer Road in District D.

Next, Mastodonte, LLC will install raingardens to manage stormwater, reduce the heat island effect, increase biodiversity, and improve walkability, with funds provided by Entergy’s Environmental Initiatives Fund.
