Jeffrey B. Goodman

Jeffrey Goodman is an urban planner and researcher with a varied background in everything from international technology education to public participation design to journalism. His current work focuses on regulating the sharing economy by balancing local context with the needs of the community. Some of his previous projects included virtual public participation forums for city governments, citizens’ guides to urban planning issues and low-cost healthcare, and voter data work across Louisiana.
Jeffrey is also a letterpress printer and bookbinder whose designs have won local and national recognition. As a co-founder of a book arts studio in the Bywater, he is committed to creating opportunities for people to explore traditional art forms.
Both his loan officer and his mother are proud that he holds an undergraduate degree from Yale University and a graduate degree in Urban Planning from Harvard’s Graduate School of Design.
