Please see the attached letter concerning the Coast Guard’s attempt to make the use of dispersant in deep waters a standard way of responding to oil spills. Please circulate widely among your networks.

If you have not already signed on, please do so as soon as possible, but no later than 9 am EST on Tuesday, Feb. 22. We welcome your thoughts, and although we cannot guarantee that changes will be incorporated at this point, please let me know no later than 9 am EST on Tuesday if you have any suggested revisions.
