Sam is the UC’s program manager. She primarily assists on the day-to-day operations for FYI such as conducting design workshops and site visits and communicating closely with FYI participants and contractors. For BASIN she helps develop curriculum, coordinates with partner organizations, and supervises meetings.
She graduated Loyola University with a B.S. in Environmental Science with a concentration in the Biological Sciences. Her thesis focused on green infrastructures as supplemental storm water management practices.
Today New Orleans, more so than most any other place on Earth, is experiencing the consequences of a lack of environmental mindfulness, justice, and education. She hopes to help promote environmentally conscious decision making in the youth of New Orleans by giving them the beginning experiences, tools and education in sustainable water management.
